I decided to build the NOLA Transit app while waiting for a bus that never came. I tried to use my iPhone to find out when the next bus might come, and I was surprised and frustrated with the experience. I felt like I could make something better, an app that would make riding the bus just a little bit easier, and a little more fun.
This is just the first release of what I hope will be a great tool for everyone in New Orleans. I’m really excited about the features that are planned for the future, and I think you will be to. If you have any suggestion as to how the app can be improved, please let me know. I look forward to hearing from you.
